It has been a long while since I've made a blog post, so this may get rusty. Life has an unfortunate way of getting in the way of art and it sometimes takes its toll on your muse. Summer is on the way and the sun coming out has both good and bad points, good that it makes me feel full of artistic vigour and bad ..... I just want to lay in it!
It has been around a week since we returned to uni after the Easter Holiday and I was feeling a bit lost on my path. A bit unsure with what I was going to do with this project and a bit lost with how I was going to pull it off. After chatting to our project leader I felt a lot better about it, he too agreed that it would be tricky to pull off but if I get it right then it will be good. I have to add a bit to my learning agreement to make it less woolly. At the moment the WHY I am doing this could be added to, to make sure whoever is reading it doesn't take the game the wrong way!
At the moment it could be read as 'this is a guide on starting up as a serial killer' or 'here is this serial killer lets feel sorry for him' and I need to change the part about exploring the darker side of humanity which I agree could be worked on more!
Outside of the learning agreement I have begun my research by looking up articles online about brains of serial killers and psychopaths. Before I start work on my designs I want to understand the environments that some people have come from and the thoughts that could go through their heads. If I am going to pull this off I have a lot of work to do!
Here are the links I have found useful.
